We were blessed with another beautiful day to continue our North of Boston hiking tour at the John J. Donovan Reservation & Sagamore Hill Conservation Area in Hamilton.
The Essex County Greenbelt has done a great job marking trails and we only got turned around (lost) once and clocked about 2.25 miles. There were some bugs and ticks in the shade and high grass but a really nice breeze and a great view at the top of the hill.
There were a couple of 4 legged friends next to the parking lot at the entrance to the trail.
That hat kept the sun and the bugs off my head – worth it!
